Okay y’all…
So, I said I was really thinking about starting to try out vlogging and all… but I didn’t know when… but now I guess I do.
BECAUSE… well, here I am today posting my very first vlog!
I actually recorded it about a week ago and I said I’d post it in celebration of 200 downloads of my ebook Cartoon once I got it… and I really did hit 200 a few days ago and have actually surpassed that number by now but… you know, whatever, I still hit it and we can still celebrate, right?
It actually turned out longer than I thought it would, too, so… sorry about that, I guess, unless you actually prefer the length that it is. Also, I really want to apologize right now for the terrible audio and video quality because… yeah, I just recorded it with my webcam and laptop mic so I’m obviously not a pro or anything, haha.
Anyway, I just wanted a chill, laid-back kind of video vibe, so I just did a sort of quick ‘about me’ session. And… in the end, I think I did accomplish that goal pretty well.
I’ve been going on typing long enough now, though. So…

I think it’s interesting to learn more about you! I’m the oldest of four and about as old as your siblings. 😆
Personally I prefer to read text than listen to videos, most because I can read pretty fast and I usually catch up on blogs in between stuff (like, at work 😆) so it’s not always convenient to listen to a video. 😅
But don’t let me discourage you from doing your vlogs! You should continue with it if you want to. 😀

Yeah, it’s kind of a weird situation to explain to people sometimes because I’m like… sure, they’re all a lot older than I am, but they’re still my siblings and I don’t really feel like an only child or anything like they’d think. Maybe when I was a lot younger I felt like an only child because I was the only one at home… but not so much now that I’m older.
And don’t worry, videos definitely won’t be a regular thing for me, haha. I still really prefer writing posts, but I hope to still post a video every now and then, just for a change.

I get the siblings part, because my husband also has a gap that big with his older sister. Doesn’t stop them from being close though. 😀

Thank you! It was actually making me really nervous at first… but after a while I was like, wow, this isn’t too bad and it is actually kind of fun! Editing is the hard part!
