Hey everyone, I have some super-duper exciting news to share with you today!

And, well, without further ado, here it is…

I have established a NEW book recommendation platform!

Yep, you heard me right! Think of it as being a little like Bookbub… except, with this platform, you only hear about funny and feel-good books. We also share some freebie books quite frequently, too!

Now, of course, I want you all to check out this platform immediately, and you can right now through our new website or Facebook page!

So, I came up with the idea for this cute lil’ platform a while ago, but it took some time to actually bring it to fruition. In fact, it’s taken me since January of this year to get it fully up and running, especially since I’ve done all the platform creation myself (because, yeah, I’m a total DIY-er, I guess… plus I don’t exactly have the money to pay someone else to do things for me!), so it’s been a long time coming.

The idea for Funny Girl Books came when I was struggling to find the right advertising platform to put my own books on. I noticed that a lot of reading recommendation platforms out there are tailored for what I call “dark” genres–that is, like, mystery, thriller, and fantasy. And, if you’re a reader that likes to read those types of books, that’s perfectly okay, but not all of us are into those, or so I’d like to think.

Now, my books are very lighthearted, and I really consider them to be quite comedic in nature… because, well, the end goal of my writing is to make readers laugh and feel good! Thus, I couldn’t find a great place online to use when I wanted to recommend them to readers of comedic genres… so, I decided, heck, why not make my own?

Then Funny Girl Books was born.

Now, for my fellow readers that love getting book recommendation e-mails (again, very similarly to Bookbub), we do have an e-mail list up and running, which you can sign-up for right now!

And, as an added bonus for signing up with us, you’re going to unlock a free, funny ebook instantly in the process! Also, just so you know… it may or may not be a book that I’ve written…

In the future, I see Funny Girl Books being the go-to place for authors and readers to connect over funny, wholesome books, and I’m proud to say that we are also open to accepting titles by fellow authors for display in our catalog and e-mails for FREE right now!

In order to keep this platform sustainable, we will be requiring a fee to submit your book in the future, so I encourage you to take advantage now and tell us about your funny books while you still can for free!

Now, I’m also working constantly to add more books to the Funny Girl Books site and Facebook page, so I encourage you all to check back on each often! You never know… you might just find your next favorite read!
