3 Ways to Read Kari Lynn M.’s Books for Free

You like free stuff, right? I mean, everyone likes free stuff, no?

Which is why, today, I’d like too share all the ways (heads up: there are THREE) that you can get your hands on some awesome books for FREE!

Pretty much anytime I tell people I’m a published author, they first ask what genre I write in, and then they ask if they can actually read my books. And, I get why–some books seem to be elusively published only in a certain country or territory in only paperback form and can only be found in a select few bookstores. But… not for my books!

A lot of people don’t know that you can actually read my books for free, too. It’s not like it’s a secret or anything, either, but it’s just a little known fact.

So… who’s ready to get their hands on some free e-books and audiobooks?

About Kari Lynn M.’s Books

If you haven’t already caught on… well, I’m actually Kari Lynn M., and I’m an author with a couple of sweet books out that you, as a reader, might just love.

For the most part, pretty much all of my books reside in the young adult/teen fiction genre. They also are all comedies… meaning, basically, that they’re just really funny. In the future, of course, I may branch out and write in some other genres, so stay tuned on that front…

As of the publication of this post though, I have a total of 4 books out there for you to read right now!

First, let me share a little about my solo standalone (meaning not in a series) e-book and audiobook, Cartoon.

Cartoon is a teen fiction novel about a 16-year-old girl who finds herself caught in the world of spies and secret agents… by accident, of course.

Cartoon is a great book that both teens and adults can enjoy… oh, and it’s got a little bit of romantic comedy to it, and, honestly, who doesn’t love a rom-com?

Second, let me share a bit about my Emma Lenford series, which currently has 3 novels available in both e-book and audiobook formats.

Emma Lenford is truly the unluckiest 17-year-old on the planet. She keeps her sense of humor, though, through this series of seriously ill-fated situations. She’s constantly kidnapped, held at gunpoint, and even arrested for things she honestly didn’t even do.

Her life is basically a sit-com where one traumatic thing after another befalls her, and it’s all out of her control.

This book series is perfect for, literally, every teen and adult reader who loves to watch sit-coms–think shows like Friends, The Office, Community, Abbott Elementary… there’s just too many to list.

And, yeah, I know, that sounds like an odd hook, but it’s true–this series is all about funny and awkward situations with a little bit of action and adventure!

(Psst… as of right now, I am in the process of writing the fourth installment in this series, so it’s definitely not over yet, either!)

Now, how would you like to read one or all of these books completely for free?

How to Read Kari Lynn M.’s Books for Free

1. Through a Library (or Library App)

Again, it’s no secret that you can read hundreds to thousands of books for free by visiting a local library… yet there are a lot of readers that don’t realize my books are available at their own favorite library!

All of my audiobooks are available to rent for free through the Hoopla app, which tons of libraries now offer to their patrons. Additionally, Hoopla lets you rent and download media through its website, which I personally like to do so that I can listen to audiobooks on my laptop rather than my phone.

If you aren’t sure if your library offers Hoopla or not, just try signing up for a Hoopla account using your library card. If your card isn’t accepted, contact your library and ask if there is an issue or if the library currently doesn’t offer Hoopla to patrons.

Some libraries alternatively offer digital media to patrons to check-out through a different library app called Libby.

Libby works similarly to Hoopla for patrons though it works a little differently for libraries. With Libby, libraries must pick and choose the titles they offer to patrons in the app, which means patrons often have to request access to a certain book–not all books found in Libby will be available in all libraries.

With that being said, know that all of my e-books and audiobooks are available in Libby, but you may need to request them from your local library to read them. However, if you have a Libby account, go on ahead and check the links below to see if your library offers these titles already or not. And, if you don’t already have a Libby account–try making one with your library card.

And now, if you don’t go to a library regularly, that’s okay–I got you, too!

Let me introduce you to Scribd, your own personal library subscription service.

While you do pay a fee to use it monthly (after a 30-day free trial, though!), Scribd works just like a digital library for anyone and everyone who wants to access things like e-books, audiobooks, magazines, research documents, and even sheet music and digital media. With a Scribd subscription, you get unlimited access (which is different to library apps that often have a limit on how many items you may check out a month) to everything on the platform every month.

And, of course… that means you can also access my books, all in audiobook form, as many times as you’d like! Heck yeah!

2. With a Free Trial

Another great way to get free digital books is by trying a free trial service. Scribd, of course, is one of them–and you can access all of my books for free for 30 days when you initially sign up for Scribd.

Audiobooks.com is another reading website/app that lets you try 3 totally free audiobooks when you first use it (which can totally by books by Kari Lynn M., just saying). You can also get 30 days of member-exclusive deals, like audiobook discounts, when you first make an Audiobooks.com account.

If you haven’t already (because I’m sure a lot of readers have), you could also give Audible a try for free. An Audible trial gets you one free audiobook (or two if you have Amazon Prime) that you can keep even after your trial is over. And, yep, you guessed it–all of my audiobooks are on Audible, too!

3. By Signing Up for a Free ‘Emma Lenford’ Series Starter

And, finally, if you run into trouble getting my books through a library or a free trial service… nope–you are totally not screwed!

Because you can still get one of my books entirely free–all you need is an e-mail address.

I offer the first book in my Emma Lenford series free for all readers worldwide because, for one, free books are awesome and, two, I want to give everyone the chance to try my books without any catch–that’s honestly the best way I can share the joy of reading and build a community of like-minded readers at the same time. Because… yep, the Kari Lynn M. reading community is a community, and we’d love for you to join us!

So, if you’d like to get the first Emma Lenford book free (available both e-book AND audiobook forms), click below to sign-up to get it!

Again, all you need to provide is an e-mail address so that we can send it to you. No credit card info, no scammy details–just a simple sign-up with an e-mail address. Plus, once we begin sending you e-mails with your free book details, you are free to unsubscribe from our e-mailing service anytime.

Now, honestly, you shouldn’t have any excuse to not give any of these amazing books a try. It’s all free, after all… so, get reading!
