Welcome, artists, to another video/vlog on all things painting!
And today’s video is going to be quite a bit different (although, honestly we say that every time)… because we’re going to play a bit of a game. Roll with us on this!
Actually, this is a bit of a “quiz game” in which your knowledge of color theory is going to be put the test. And, don’t panic if you know nothing about color theory—there’s no grade to this quiz. We’re going to just take a look at a couple of different paint color combinations, one by one, and you’re going to get to guess what color will be made when those combinations are mixed.
It’ll be fun, seriously!
So, check out the video below to play along. And, if you’d like to learn even more about color theory, scroll down to even join a free color theory workshop! Yes!
A Color Theory Guessing Game for Painters
Now, as mentioned both above and in the video, we have a completely free color theory workshop for you to join right now!
The workshop includes a full length class video plus a downloadable/printable workbook. All you need are a couple tubes of paint and a brush to join us-it’s that easy.
In the workshop, we will learn about primary, secondary, and tertiary/intermediate colors. We’ll also find out how to make our own paint colors from scratch and get a look at what the “color wheel” is.
