For those wanting an introduction into painting more detailed roses, you’ve come to the right class! Because, today, you will be learning simple skills that you need to replicate both acrylic and somewhat intricate watercolor roses. Both roses use pink hues, so you’ll also become familiar with how to mix lighter paint colors. And, as always, you will be invited to make your own watercolors, too!

Materials Needed

• Paints
  • Red
  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • White
  • Burnt Umber or Brown
• A mixing palette for acrylic paint
• A mixing palette for watercolor paint (or multiple shot glasses, small mixing bowls, or plastic cups works!)
• One paint mixing tool (either a spatula, butter knife, or craft/popsicle stick)
• One small/medium roundhead brush
