Two Cherries “Lazy Watercolor” Painting Class
This full, quick painting class will take you step by step in making two simple (but realistic) cherries. We go from sketching to mixing colors to painting, and you can certainly pause and rewind at any point to go at your own pace.
We also learn about a so-called “lazy watercolor” method, which is a GREAT method for beginners who aren’t yet used to working with watercolor. To try this method, you’ll actually need ACRYLIC paints and water. You can certainly use regular watercolor, too, if you’d like for today’s class—no problem!
Some materials you will need to take this class include:
- One paintbrush
- Something to mix paints with (such as paint spatulas, popsicle sticks, even a butter knife)
- Something to mix paints on (like a palette or a paper plate)
- A water cup and towel or napkin (for brush cleaning)
- Acrylic paints in colors:
- Red
- Blue
- Yellow
- White
- Raw umber or black
Take this class again and again to see yourself improve your artistry skills!
