Back to Lovely Landscapes Course

by Kari Lynn M.

Welcome to the very first class in the “Lovely Landscapes” Course, fellow artist!

We’re so excited to have you here, and we’re ready to help you dive into the world of sunsets.

Sunsets are simple landscape paintings that can be done in many different colors (just think of all the hues you see in the sky in real life!), and they are quite easy for beginners to pick up. In this class, we will make not one but two sunset pictures: one using acrylic paints, and one using watercolors.

By using both acrylics and watercolors in a single session, we will see how differently they act on the page or canvas, and we’ll get to practice various painting techniques, from blending to the classic “wet-on-wet” of watercolor skills.
