Queen B fans near and far… get ready to paint the face of music royalty herself!

Be sure to complete the rest of the “How to Paint Portraits for Beginners” course in order before tackling this class. Because, as you join us, you’ll need to remember all of the techniques we learned in those previous classes as we make Beyonce’s face come to life. Be prepared for a challenge, too, since—even though this class is designed for beginners—we will be practicing some tricky painting skills, like making subtle highlights and lowlights in the skin of the face.

Materials Needed

• Paints
  • White
  • Raw Umber
  • Blue or Black
• A mixing palette for acrylic paint
• One paint mixing tool (either a spatula, butter knife, or craft/popsicle stick)
• One small/medium roundhead brush
  • Optional: one medium/large roundhead brush
