Back to Portraits for Beginners Course

by Kari Lynn M.

Time to take a break from the face and move onward toward, perhaps, the easiest part of a portrait: the hair!

This class will introduce you to creating hair, although you should recall some key ways to paint hair when we made eyebrows and even a mustache previously. You should find that hair is not nearly as detailed as the face itself, but there are a lot of highlights and lowlights to incorporate. This class is also going to show you how to specifically replicate two different textures of hair with two different types of brushstrokes.
