Back to Portraits for Beginners Course

by Kari Lynn M.

Get prepared to make the most exciting part of the face! The… nose?

Well, noses may not be the most “popular” parts of the face to paint, but most of us do have them, so we need to learn how to paint them in order to add them into our portraits. Unlike eyes and mouths, noses are not very detailed, but they are covered in skin, so we will be exploring a lot of good techniques you can use to paint skin in grayscale in this class. We will also go over how to make highlights and lowlights on and around the nose, so get ready to practice making a good sniffer!
