Welcome to this nice and easy acrylic + watercolor painting class, which will help you create a homey (or shall we say “gnomey”?) wall sign that can spruce up your own home. As we paint, we’ll use our knowledge of basic color mixing and paint shading, plus we’ll decorate the background of our painting with watercolor spatters.

Materials Needed
- Paints
- Red
- Yellow
- White
- Raw Umber, Black, or another dark color for lettering
- A mixing palette for acrylic paint
- A mixing palette for watercolor paint (or two shot glasses or mixing bowls)
- One paint mixing tool (either a spatula, butter knife, or craft/popsicle stick)
- One small/medium roundhead brush
