Hey homedogs, it’s me again!

(Yes, I’m not gone for good yet!)

So, I’m still working on deciding what to post for the next few weeks, or months, or so… but, right now, I thought I’d just share a new lil’ fun hobby I have with y’all!

And that would be…

Telescope-ing!

Yes, I got a new telescope over the holidays, and now I’m using it to fuel my brand new hobby of taking pictures of the beautiful night sky!

(Astronomy has always been something I’ve been deeply intrigued by, though I’ve never actually had the chance to study it or do much of anything else with it besides stargazing every summer night… until now!)

So… I bet you all are waiting to see the grand ol’ pictures, right?

Well, don’t worry, I’ve got at least one good one to show you so far…

And it’s my first real good shot of the moon.

And, okay, maybe it’s not the absolute best image of the (Earth’s) moon that you’ve ever seen… but, for my very first image, I think it’s pretty good. And, if you knew how much time and work had to go into getting just this one good shot… you’d appreciate it quite a bit, too, haha.

But, now that I’ve got the right and equipment and the beginning of a new skill set… maybe you could expect some more shots from me pretty soon!
