1. Classic Bouquet Card

Occasions: Birthdays, anniversaries, “thinking of you”, sympathy & “general hello”

Meet the classic watercolor bouquet—it’s one you can use time and time again for a multitude of occasions, especially since it has no text on it. Just print a couple copies for a couple of different cards, and then write your own messages inside of each.

2. Funny Cactus Card

Occasions: Birthdays & “general hello”

If you know someone who appreciates a touch of humor, then this cactus (wearing sunglasses, of course) may make their day. Aside from being the front of a potential birthday card, this one works well for giving a quick laugh to someone who might just need a “prickly hug”.

4. Cheery Bear Card

Occasions: Birthdays & baby showers

This card features a familiar “silly ol’ bear” wearing a party hat and holding a pot of honey with a big red bow. It might just be perfect for the next children’s birthday on your list… or for welcoming a new baby into the world.

Occasions: Birthdays, anniversaries & retirement

Happy moments deserve happy thoughts… and is there really any better “happy thought” than the thought of a delicious cake?

That’s where this watercolor cake card comes in—bringing you and someone else a slice of happiness. Gift it for anyone’s birthday or even for anniversaries or retirement parties.

Printing Watercolor Cards FAQs

If you need a little extra help figuring out how to best print any of the above cards, don’t worry!

Check out some simple question and answers about printing your own greeting cards.

Help! I can’t figure out how to print these free cards!

Every device is different, so it may take some trial and error to figure out how to print these cards from your device—whether you’re using a phone, a computer, a tablet, or something else.

All of these cards will open as PDF files, so they should be compatible with just about every device out there. Click the buttons below each card to open the file you want, then take a look around for some type of “print” button, like the one shown here.

From there, you should be able to send the file to your home printer so long as it is “hooked up” to your device. If you still have trouble printing the cards, try searching online for printer troubleshooting tips for your exact printer.

What size are these cards?

These cards, when printed on regular 8.5 by 11-inch printer paper (or cardstock, ideally) can be folded in half and become a standard A7 size card.

This means that they will fit in standard A7 card envelopes, which is the same size as most greeting cards found in stores.

Do I need to print the cards on special paper?

While you do not need to print these cards on any “special” type of paper, thick printer paper or cardstock does tend to work best for a true “card” feel.

Where can I get more cards like these?

If you really enjoy greeting cards in watercolor style, consider painting some yourself!
