Hey homedogs, it’s me… again!

So, I’ve had this idea for this… mini-game type of thing, and I think today is the day I guess I’ll debut it.

Who’s ready to play your new favorite game… “song… or poem???”

So, here’s how it works.

I’ll write out a line or two of verse, and then you all have to guess if those lines are actually originally from a song… or a poem. The fun of it comes from the fact that it’s virtually impossible to tell a song lyric from a line of poetry on paper (or computer screen), so you either have to actually recognize the words or just take a super lucky guess.

And don’t read ahead before you guess… cheater-pants.

Now… let’s get started!

First challenge.

Anyway, I hope y’all enjoyed this fun lil’ break in your day! It’s just something that I thought would be a good idea to test out, and I think it went pretty well, so I may probably do more of these challenges in the future. It also just goes to show how similar songs and poems really are when you read them on a page side-by-side.
