Whoever that is that’s searching, I don’t know, but I’d like to think at least someone is curious…
So, I’m just immediately going to say this- I don’t have super grand news.
Please don’t grab your torch and pitchforks.
Now, I published the first book in my (new-ish) Emma Lenford series almost a year ago, called What Now, Emma Lenford? as an ebook on Smashwords, Apple, Kobo… you know, all those biggies (minus Amazon… sorry! [it can’t be free there!] ). And, now that is actually coming up on being out for nearly a full 365 days and nights… I feel I should give an update as to what’s happening with the, um, sequel.
Well, before you whip out the candlestick in the dining room on me, know this- THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL.
I just… haven’t… quite… gotten to… it… yet…
Now, I have started the second book, I can tell you that. But, by started… I mean, I just haven’t gotten very far yet. If you need a rough estimate of my standings… I’d say I’m…
Okay, I’m still working on “chapter one”.
Again, don’t stab me in the back; I’m not turning away from you, either.
I am working slowly on the beginning of this book, and I had to take a break from the series in general last year to work on another book, one called In Between. So, I mean, there’s that if you need something to check out in the meantime!
However, I just want the official update on book numero dos to be this… I’m still working on it. And it might be a while. But it will come.
Just… eventually.
I literally have no dates or timeframe estimates in mind. And I won’t even try to guess, either, because I don’t want to make a promise I can’t hold onto. Things just got busy, things are busy, things will probably stay busy… Things just change all the time, you know?
Well, Emma Lenford is excited to tell you guys what’s next in her adventures. And, hopefully, you all are excited to read about them. It’s only a matter of time until I can connect you two sides once again. And, who knows, maybe it’ll come quicker than you’d expect.
For now, it’s a work in progress.
