So, this is a very… charming week for the blog and I. We’ve got a lot of… celebrating to do!
Mostly, this is going to just be a thank-you and I-look-forward-to post, but I do mean every word of it.
First of all, my official blog anniversary was March 7th, as we started things off with THE first blog post back in… oh good lord, 2017!
Things were kind of messy at first, I’ll admit that, but they had to start somewhere, right?
Also, I posted at least once a day the first few months. And I’m really glad that I don’t do that anymore.
Secondly, my very first ever e-book novel was published on March 12th, 2017, called Cartoon!
And that, I think, marked the beginning of this long journey of writer-hood.
And then, lastly… my birthday is March 14th, y’all! Which is actually why I picked those previous two dates to begin with, to, like, celebrate myself. It’s my birthday gift to me!
Now, here’s where the sappy stuff starts.
I just want to thank anyone and everyone who’s even ever passed a glance at my blog, books, or… birthday. But really, you guys, whether you know it or not, help me. And I mean… really help me.
This blog has been with me a long time, and it’s been, like, the one constant through all of that life-crap stuff. I feel like I’ve grown so much alongside this blog, and it’s really a… beautiful thing, honestly, what it’s pulled me through.
My books are, like, that level plus a hundred. No, a trillion. Any person who ever dared to even virtually open one of my self-published e-books deserves a million thank-yous and more. You people… you homedogs—you are my hundreds of tiny saviors and motivators. You give me strength, especially after the hardest days, and you remind me of all the things I can and want to do and why… for you.
Even if it’s just one person somewhere in the world, flying to different countries, buying my books online with so many different currencies, just to show me such a successful graph on Smashwords of all my global readers, I am just as eternally grateful.
Now, the I-want-to-look-forward-to-this-and-that-and-this-again part…
I just hope that our blogging days here are many still to come. It’s gets hard to keep up sometimes, but I do still love it, and I love the sharing and connecting aspect of it, if not anything else. I love being social to new and different people any way I can, and I truly think blogging is a perfect way of doing that. You guys are, as I love to say, my homedogs.
And as for my books and other writings, I’m ready to do more. Books that keep me busy keep me happy, and though they sometimes do the opposite to my emotions, I always come back around to ’em. I would write a million more books if I physically could, and I want to share my happiness to others who love to read with them every day.
And I do hope I can make it to another birthday, too.
Now… come celebrate with me, you guys!

Congratulations on your anniversaries! You write very well, so your posts are fun to read. I just listened to Reading Red 1, and will certainly listen to the rest, although it’s almost too scary!

Oh my gosh, thanks so much! Readers like you make my days so much better, and I’m so glad to hear I put some fun into yours as well!
(And I know Red is a bit scary… so I definitely won’t shame you if you ever decide to back out, haha.)
