Hey, guys, I’ve got something fun and exciting and different to show y’all today!
So, I think I’m gonna start a new weekly thing like this where I post about one of my art pieces on the blog. It seems to work well into my new site setup (which includes my work both as an author and artist), and it also seems like a great way to share my stuff with you regularly.
So, let’s see… this week, how about I share with y’all… this painting here, which I named “Take Me, Tahiti!”
This painting is on a 9 by 12 inch canvas, and it is a one-of-a-kind original done by… well, me!
The photo I referenced in making this painting was actually one taken by my sister-in-law, a sort of up-and-coming photographer, while her and my brother were vacationing in Tahiti a few years back. Hence the name… Take Me, Tahiti!
This painting, even though it is one of the smaller ones I’ve done, is actually one of my favorites. I love the way the scene looks, and the colors were easier than normal to mix. I think it turned out pretty amazingly!
NOW, for all of you who may (or may not…) be curious… THIS PAINTING IS FOR SALE!
Yes! I have this painting out on the WORLD market through Etsy! If you are interested, you can check it out here!
Of course, this isn’t the only painting I currently have up for grabs. There’s a lot more on my full Etsy shop, CanvasByKari, too.
But, of course, since you all are such wonderful followers to me over here… I have a special offer code you can use on anything in my shop!
Click here or use code BLOG15 on anything you order from me on Etsy to get 15% off!
Look at me, marketing like a pro.
Well, anyway, let me know what you guys think of the art piece of the week! Also… how do you like having an art piece of the week in general?
I think it’s nice this way to share a little bit of the “making of the art” here with you guys, as I don’t get to do that, really, anywhere else. So, thank you all for sharing in my artwork!
Until next week’s installment…

Sharing your art here is a great idea. I enjoyed looking at your shop. My favorite painting there is “In Blue.”

Oh my gosh, thanks so much for looking at my shop page! In blue is a pretty one, but I will say it isn’t one of favorites!
