Welcome back everyone! Since I enjoyed the “art piece of the week” last… well, week, I think we’ll keep it running today as well!

So, today’s post is brought to you by… a little painting I call “Rocky Growth”.

This lil’ 8 by 10 inch packs in… a big story of its own, I think.

From the looks of the picture, there’s an exotic flower growing in the rocks. How? Who knows. It’s just something found growing in the most unexpected of places. And maybe that lends to a little moral we can all learn from.

Maybe we can all thrive and grow in the most unexpected or rockiest of places. 

Betcha didn’t expect morality statements from here today, did ya? 

This painting took inspiration from a photo that my own sister in law took on a beachside vacation not too long ago. I asked her whether the flower was really growing there in the rocks, or if she staged the whole thing… and she told me the answer… but I’ll leave the mystery still up to you!
