Itza map! So, guys, I quite recently noticed a new button popping up on my Smashwords dashboard... It looks a little something (or exactly like) this: And then, lo and behold, when I click it, something quite like this appears on my computerized LED screen face: And, well, look at that! A nifty lil' sales …

Hey there! I'm Kari, a self-published author/independent artist/amateur cake decorator/freelance writer and creator with a dream. The dream of sharing stories with as many people I can possibly reach... and having an abundant supply of white chocolate truffles.
And that's pretty much me!
The 12th art piece of the week!
Oh, yes, here we go again... It's "Denali 1"! I called it that because I figured I would make more versions of Mount Denali in the future... and, actually, I did-- remember art piece of the week #8, "The Great One"? Yeah, that one actually came after this. Of course, though, I took this and …
Is consistency really key?
It could be. Hi guys, and welcome back to our lovely little blogging space here! Today I have one question to pose because it's the only thing I could get to come to mind when I realized I was (ironically) late once again in writing my weekly posts-- Is consistency really key? So, I've been …
Art Piece of This Week… It’s 11!
It's also a new one! So, pretty recently, my family and I took a mini-vacation to... (drum roll it)... Michigan. Yup. A two hour drive from our home(s). Michigan. But, okay, Michigan can actually be really pretty, I mean, if you look at it right. So, we took a lil' trip to the shore of …
This is so exciting…
OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH, YOU GUYS. Cartoon, the audiobook, has arrived... in a few online retailers! Now, I really wanted to make one big official post for this announcement thing... but, now it's just kind of drawing out over a 2-3 week period, so I'm just gonna roll with it. …
Art piece of the week: #10!

I'm getting super into these resin layer paintings (check out this post to hear more about this, seriously, mind-warping process). I love the 3D illusion and the look/feel of thick glass. It's something that I …
More audio updates: UPLOADED
GUYSSSS... Cartoon, the audiobook, has officially been uploaded! It's actually been uploaded since Sunday night. But... I was kind of waiting to get some live retailer links to show you before I made the big announcement... but... it also seems that it's not actually published live on any retailers yet, so... Well, anyway, I'm ready …
The 9th art piece of the week!
Oh, isn't she loverly? You guys, I love Audrey Hepburn. I mean, I don't know anybody who doesn't, but she is, hands-down, my favorite old-Hollywood actress. So, I got the idea to paint a copy of a classic photo of her and then frame it up! I've also seen similar printed canvases at places like …
Working on a new book… or TWO…
Ohmygoodnessgracious... Inspiration, that tricky lil' devil, has struck again. Now, not only am I hard at work on (ahem, FINISHING!) that audiobook, I am also getting back into the actual groove of writin' and typin'! And, I mean, two is always better than one... right??? So, I want to make this into a sort of …
Art piece of the week numero 8!
Ocho! Here we go... oh! When I was 18 years old, I took a plane ride for the first time in my life. Yes, I know, it wasn't even until after I graduated high school... but, really, I had never taken a real, far away vacation like that before. So, for my "graduation gift" from …
